Volunteer and Legal Researcher for Children’s Hope and Voice
Whenever a juvenile is tried as an adult Dana works with the courts to see that the child is held within the juvenile system until they reach the age of an adult before placing them in general population.
Dana volunteer’s pro-bono work for juveniles, the wrongfully accused and victims of human trafficking and sexual abuse. Her personal experiences motivates her to fight against injustice and fight for the less fortunate.
March 2008 – October 2012 (4 years 8 months)
Dana sat in on random court cases and submitted reports to the chief Judge as to the entire case how it was handled, any discrepancies, court room demeanor, behavior of both prosecuting and defense attorneys. Behavior and attitude of presiding Judge. She was looking and evaluating any form of injustice to any case and making the reports to hold those individuals accountable.
