The opinions, findings, and conclusions or recommendations expressed in this video are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily represent the official position or policies of the U.S. Department of Justice.”
When Children CRY would like to take this opportunity to inform, first responders, ..Law Enforcement, Prosecuters, Nurses, Advocate’s or anyone I may have left out…There is new information that can help you do your job more effectively. PLEASE educate yourself by watching Dr. Rebecca Campbell’s VERY lucid presentation. A fundamental physiologic response forms the foundation of our “fight or flight response”. It is our body’s inborn, primitive, automatic, response that prepares the body to “fight” or “flee” from perceived attack, harm or threat to our survival. Research has uncovered an additional response called Tonic Immobility or (freeze) that has been ignored in investigation’s due to ignorance in the literal sense from untapped lack in research of the neurobiological reason’s on how the brain is impacted functionally. This is a SCIENCE that could be taken into the courtrooms so victims will not endure the same attrition as in past. Please educate yourself watch the video.

-Do not blame yourself for “Freezing” and doing nothing, was not your fault
